This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and uses neither Google Analytics, nor advertising pixels, nor session recorders. That is why you see no consent banner on arrival: nothing is written to your device for tracking purposes, so there is nothing to consent to.

The site sets a single strictly necessary cookie: NEXT_LOCALE, which stores the language being displayed (French or English) when it differs from your browser's, so we can bring you back to it from the home page. It is a session cookie: it disappears when you close your browser. This type of cookie is exempt from consent, as it is essential to the operation of the site and serves no tracking or profiling purpose.

To know which pages are visited, we use the analytics provided by Vercel, the site’s host. It works without cookies and without any storage on your device: nothing is written or read back between visits, and you cannot be followed from one site to another. To count unique visitors, Vercel derives a hashed identifier from your request (IP address and browser), valid for at most twenty-four hours and then discarded; it cannot be used to identify you.

The data retained is aggregated: page visited, referring page, device type, operating system and version, browser and version, country and region. When a quote request is sent, a ’quote sent’ event is counted with the project type, budget range and timeline — never your name, your email or your message. No profile is built, and no data is sold or used for advertising.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this measurement does not fall under the prior-consent requirement that applies to cookies. It relies on our legitimate interest in knowing the site’s audience. You retain your rights of access, objection and erasure at any time, at the address given in the privacy policy.

Should we ever add a tracker that sets a cookie or makes you identifiable, a compliant consent banner would be put in place before any cookie is set, with the ability to freely accept or refuse it.
